The wonderful thing about living a sober life is that no matter how hard days can seem and no matter how difficult circumstances may be, I no longer have...dread - that horrible sense of impending doom. In recovery, we can still screw up. We can still make mistakes, but we now have the tools to make amends, to fix our errors and make things right. We can still do what is required and be responsible. In recovery, responsibility means the ability to respond to life and all that life calls upon us to do.
