May is traditionally the time of the blossoming of the tulips and spring comes to northern climates.  I was born in May on the same day as Malcolm X.  May is the month of hope, integrity, faith and absolute miracles.

Courage

April is the fourth month of the year, and as such, I select each month to coincide with the corresponding step and then I dedicate myself to the principle behind each step of the 12 steps during each omnth of the year.  The principle for the fourth step, and hence, the fourth month is "Courage". 

Courage
